Samsung BM1743 U.2 SSD 30,72TB

The Samsung BM1743 is a solid-state drive in the U.2 form factor, launched on July 5th, 2024. It is only available in the 61 TB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the Samsung BM1743 interfaces using a PCI-Express 5.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the ELAN (S4LV006) from Samsung. Samsung has installed 176-layer QLC NAND flash on the BM1743, the flash chips are made by Samsung. Thanks to support for the fast PCI-Express 5.0 interface, performance is excellent. The BM1743 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 7,200 MB/s and 2,000 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 1600K for reads and 110K for writes.
