KLab takes over development of mobile game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

KLab announced that it had resumed development of its next JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mobile game. They will develop the game alongside a new partner for a global release in 2026.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a beloved series that began publication in manga form in 1987. Over the years, several follow-up series have been released, starting with Ghost Blood. The most recent entry is the current one JoJoLands. The manga has received several anime and video game adaptations. Gumi’s next game will be the latest in a long line of major adaptations of the critically acclaimed series.

KLab reveals new development partner for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Mobile game, resumes development

KLab has officially announced that it is working with a new development partner on its next project. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Originally, they would have worked with gumi, developers of mobile games such as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius And The Alchemist’s Code. Now they will work with Wanda Cinemas Games. The game will be released in Japan in 2025. It will be released worldwide in 2026.

The most recent JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, is available now on all consoles. The game’s official Steam page describes how the game differs from the original 2014 release:

Based on the All Star Battle system released in 2014, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R’s game design invigorates the experience with adjustments to combat tempo and the addition of punch stops and jump sprints. With new audio recordings of the anime voice actors from Part 6, the entire atmosphere of the anime series is realized. Fans who played the original All Star Battle and newcomers alike will be able to enjoy the experience.

Finally, the next KLab JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure The mobile game will be released in 2025 in Japan and globally in 2026. It will likely be available on iOS and Android upon release.
